About Us

The Taylor County SCPA is a non-profit 501(c)(3) animal rescue and welfare organization in southcentral Kentucky. Our organization is made up of volunteers that are dedicated to the well-being of all animals across the region. We serve animals and people wherever and whenever we can!

What We Do

The Taylor County SPCA works tirelessly to support animal welfare across our region. One of our main missions is to provide rescue and foster care to animals in need, and then to place them in loving adoptive homes. We also provide education regarding the benefits of spay/neuter and directly support pet parents with our voucher program, allowing low-cost access to this important procedure.

Who We Are

The Taylor County SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting animal welfare. The SPCA was founded in 1967 by Pat Abell and Mary Myles, who saw a need for greater animal protection and answered that call. We have been serving animals ever since. Our team is made up entirely of volunteers who work to improve the lives of animals in our communities.

Help Us Out!

Join us in making a difference in the lives of animals. There are many ways to get involved, such as fostering an animal, volunteering at events, or making a donation. Every little bit helps and together, we can make a difference.
